What drayage is
Drayage is the short truck move that connects a container to the rest of the supply chain. A driver picks up a box at a seaport or a rail ramp and delivers it to a warehouse, a plant, or a yard. The same service takes an export container back to the terminal. It is a short haul, and it is where storage, detention, and missed appointments get expensive.

The moves we cover
- Port drayage. Import pickup and export return between the terminal and your facility.
- Rail drayage. The same work at an intermodal ramp.
- Expedited drayage. When the container has to move before storage or a vessel cutoff.
- Into the warehouse. The box can go to a DOF Ground warehouse for transload or cross-dock, then out by truckload, LTL, or rail.
