How we serve perishable shippers

Perishable freight only works if the temperature holds for the whole trip. DOF Ground moves produce, dairy, meat, frozen food, beverages, and other temperature-sensitive goods across the United States and Canada in refrigerated trailers. You set the range. The trailer is ordered to that range before it is loaded.

Produce season is when reefer trucks are hardest to find. If you know the harvest or the promotion weeks, we reserve capacity before those weeks start. A single hot load can still move expedited. Freight that arrives in a refrigerated container can be drayed from the port and, when it should be rebuilt, handled through a warehouse conversation with the team.

Frozen, chilled, and protect-from-freeze are different quotes. Send the number.
