What refrigerated freight covers
Refrigerated freight, or reefer, moves in a trailer that holds a temperature. DOF Ground uses it for food and beverages, produce, and other products that cannot ride in a dry van. Frozen, chilled, and protect-from-freeze freight each need a different setpoint. Tell us the range, and the trailer is set to it before the freight is loaded.
We cover refrigerated truckload across the United States and Canada, including the seasonal spikes of produce season. The same network can move a refrigerated container off a port as drayage, or a smaller temperature-controlled shipment when a full trailer is more than you need. Tracking includes the load’s progress so you know where the freight is while it is in that range.
